Research on High-Temperature Compressive Properties of Ti–10V–1Fe–3Al Alloy

To investigate the thermal deformation behavior of Ti–10V–2Cr–3Al titanium alloy, hot compression experiments were carried out via a strain rate 0.1–0.001 s−1 and temperature 730~880 °C. The results showed that rheological stress decreases when increases or decreases. Due to conditions, some flow curves exhibited significant discontinuous yielding softening. Flow softening in α+β phase region was dominated by dynamic recrystallization (DRX), while β region, it centered on recovery (DRV). A high-temperature constitutive equation, with good predictive power, established.
